On January 26, 2021, just days after the first season’s premiere, Apple TV+’s Israeli television spy thriller drama Tehran was officially renewed for a second season. Tehran is a fantastic mystery and drama series that has received positive reviews from foreign viewers. One of Apple TV+’s most well-known originals is the TV program.

What is the Story?

The plot revolves around a Mossad operative on an undercover mission in Iran’s capital, Tehran.

Tamar, an Israeli agent and computer hacker born in Iran but raised in Israel, is tasked with infiltrating a power company to shut down Iran’s air defenses.

As a result, an Israeli airstrike on a nuclear power station in Iran is likely to go undiscovered. The mission goes wrong, forcing the squad to race against the clock. Fazer spots Tamar and Zhila together and decides to investigate.

Tamar will need the help of family, friends, and unusual acquaintances to escape out of the nation with Fazer on her heels.

Despite the mission’s failure, the Israelis are still in danger. As a result, Tamar will be forced to rise and prepare to travel to Tehran to complete the mission. One thing is sure: Tamar and Milad will get closer in the second season. Season 2 will also bring several new people to help Tamar destroy the Iranian nuclear reactor.

She will, however, need to create a new plan to achieve her mission.

On March 9, 2022, Apple TV released the Official Teaser for Tehran Season 2 on YouTube. The Official Tehran Season 2 Trailer was also released via Apple TV on April 13, 2022.

With a large cast of characters and plenty of screen time for newcomer Marjan Montazeri, the teaser has received over 2 million views.
