Skylar Gaertner: Net Worth | Carson Holmes Is From Where?
Skylar Gaertner Net Worth: WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, N.C. (WECT) – WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, N.C. (WECT) – Ozark rapidly became Netflix’s #1 most popular streaming show when it returned in January 2022 for its final season.
It revolves around Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman), who is forced to relocate to the Ozarks with his wife and two children after being entangled in the world of money laundering and drug gangs.
Fans Who Watched the Show After an 18-month Hiatus May Not Have Recognized the Character
Three Longmore is a local family member who gets caught up with the Byrdes.
- Carson Holmes has started all four seasons at Three.
- However, the young actor from Wrightsville Beach, who recently turned 19, is now taller and more mature than when he was cast as a 13-year-old.
- “Most people believe Three was performed by three distinct actors because I started the show at 5’2′′ and now I’m 6′2′′,” Holmes remarked from his family’s beach house.
- “Since the beginning of the episode, I’ve grown afoot.” Three Langmore, more people are familiar with the character’s name, but they have no idea who plays it.”
- The opportunity to play Three, according to Holmes, was “life-changing.”
- His professional career had just begun when he auditioned for the role.
Done after polishing his abilities in local theatre performances and at Wilmington’s Actors Arsenal, a film and television acting studio that has helped many actors launch their careers.
I Remember It Was This Enormous Speech
About the audition script, Holmes stated, “I remember it was this enormous speech, full of swear words, full of all kinds of crap about money laundering.”
- “Trying to memorize and learn so much was a lot for a 13-year-old.” It took me a week to complete, and sure enough, I received a call a week later.
- ‘Do you know how to wakeboard?’ they asked. That was the first question they posed to me.
- They didn’t even say whether or not I got the part; instead, they asked, “Do you know how to wakeboard?”
- ‘No,’ I replied. ‘Well, we’ll figure it out later,’ they said. “Congratulations, you’ve made it to Ozark!”
- The majority of the show is shot in and around Atlanta, according to Holmes, and it provided him with an early introduction to the world of large-scale productions.
Holmes learned a lot while working on Ozark with professional actors like Jason Bateman and Laura Linney, who plays Marty Byrde’s wife, Wendy.
It Didn’t Take Long for Him to Get a Taste of Real-life
It didn’t take long for him to get a taste of real-life when one of the first sequences he shot took place in a bathroom, surrounded by the rest of the Langmore family and Bateman.
- “Working with someone like Jason, the consideration he puts into his role is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before,” Holmes added, gushing over the series lead.
- “You don’t have to pick their heads because they’re such wonderful performers,” she says.
- You can tell how their method works and what they’re doing from the sidelines. It’s challenging to be in scenes with them, to be honest, because I’ve only been doing this for a short time.
- For most people, five years may seem like a long period, but in this case, it’s nothing.
- You become engrossed in a scene. It’s real-life for these incredible, extraordinary actors. Right there in their eyes, you can see it.
- You must remind yourself that you, too, are an actor. Stay in the scene, go through it, and make it out alive. It’s awe-inspiring to watch.”
- Carson Holmes was bitten by the acting bug as an elementary school student at Wilmington’s Friends School.
- He wanted to sing, so a friend suggested he approach her music teacher, who was looking for a young kid to star in opera performance.
Holmes and his parents went to see it, and at the age of nine, he began his on-stage career.

- Michelle and Scott, he says, encouraged him to pursue his passion and drove him to rehearsals and performances night after night, week after week, month after month.
- Holmes describes his parents as “the most supportive people on the planet.”
- “What’s even better is that neither of them ever pressured me to do it.” I discovered it entirely on my own.
- ‘If you’re going to do it, you’ve got to give it 110 % and not a single thing less,’ they urged.
- ‘We don’t care what you do; all we ask is that you do it to the best of your ability,’ they stated.
- They had to drive me downtown every night because we live near the ocean and it’s roughly a 30-minute commute.
- We’d be there for eight to nine hours a day during Tech Week. They’ve been driving me around for quite some time.
- I owe them a large sum of money for gas! So, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so
- Since getting the role on Ozark, Holmes has worked on several other films and television shows, collaborating with seasoned performers such as Mark Wahlberg (Instant Family), Taraji P. Henson (Black-ish), and others.
- Paul Bettany, Taraji P. Henson, and Sam Rockwell (The Best of Enemies) (Uncle Frank).
- In January, he appeared in an episode of the CW series Naomi.
In terms of future projects, Holmes couldn’t say much, although he did say he’s working on a few things.
When Asked What Advice He Would Give to a Young Girl or Boy
When asked what advice he would give to a young girl or boy who aspires to sing, Holmes responded, “Don’t be scared to do the hard work.”
“There are always floors that need to be washed or swept,” says someone who makes a living as a dancer or actor.
- Anything you can do to gain a peek of the world you want to be a part of.
- I can’t tell you how many times I swept the Thalian (Hall) stage. I’ve also performed on that stage far too many times to count.
- If you want it, there’s only one person who can stop you: yourself. You’ll have to put in a lot of effort and be consistent, repeating the same monotonous activities over and over. But it’ll add up.”
- I hope you like Carson Holmes’ chat as much as I did.
- In the final seven episodes of Netflix’s Ozark, he plays Three Langmore.
