Red Carpet Fashion at the 2023 Grammy Awards!

The Grammys red carpet is notorious for more risqué couture than its silver screen counterparts, and the music industry’s greatest celebrities delivered once again on Sunday evening.

As the ceremony returned to its customary venue in Los Angeles — the Crypto.com Arena, formerly known as the Staples Center — for the first time since 2020, stars arrived in dramatic silhouettes and vivid color choices.

Cardi B’s sculptural electric blue bespoke gown by Indian designer Gaurav Gupta, who made his Haute Couture Week debut in Paris a little over a week ago, was one of the most eye-catching ensembles.

Lizzo also looked stunning with an Alta Moda 2022 Dolce & Gabbana robe embellished with appliqué flowers.

Kim Petras and Sam Smith made one of the night’s biggest statements by coming in vivid red ensembles with drag queens Violet Chachki and Gottmik in tow.

Smith’s top hat and cape were among the evening’s quirky accessories, which included Pharrell’s bejewelled Tiffany shades and Doja Cat and R&B singer Hannah Monds’ comical opera gloves. The night was not dominated by a single color, albeit a significant number of attendees dazzled in pink.

Bebe Rexha wore a Moschino gown (complete with matching gloves), while Kacey Musgraves dazzled in a Valentino pink bodysuit and feathered cape.

There were also a lot of jewels and rhinestones on the exhibit. Taylor Swift donned a stunning blue two-piece by Roberto Cavalli, while Harry Styles opted for a spectacular technicolour EgonLab jumpsuit decorated with Swarovski crystals instead of formalwear.

The former One Direction singer was one of numerous celebrities who wore flared outfits, with members of Mneskin and Shania Twain following suit in Harris Reed polka dot pantsuits and Gucci suits with flared trousers, respectively.

However, discernible patterns were few and far between on a night when anything goes in terms of fashion. Attendees were out to have fun, as evidenced by Anderson Paak’s floral suit and Miguel’s floor-length hooded denim Diesel coat.
