Poker Face Finale Recap
Cliff begins ‘The Hook’ by tracking down Charlie. He inquires about the length of the grave he should prepare for Charlie, only to have the businessman request that he bring the human lie detector to him.
Charlie and Sterling Sr. meet at HASP, a casino owned by the Hasp family. Sterling Sr. tells Charlie that he does not want to kill her and even admits that she did what she had to do after discovering the death of her friend.
Rather than murdering her, the businessman wants her to attend a high-profile meeting with him, the Hasps, and the other members of the “Five Families,” a crime syndicate.
During the meeting, Sterling Sr. offers Charlie money and freedom in exchange for identifying lies for him. He also gives her a gift box, only for her to discover a gun inside. Meanwhile, the casino’s lights are turned off, and Cliff murders his boss.
A startled Charlie flees the scene, and Cliff orders the people around her to apprehend her for murdering the businessman. He uses the opportunity to replace the gun Charlie had placed on the table with the murder weapon, which already bears her prints.
Charlie calls FBI Agent Luca Clark for assistance, only to be told that the evidence they have gathered is against her.
Charlie visits her house in Atlantic City, where she meets her sister Emily Cale and the latter’s daughter. Because police officers have surrounded the house, Charlie must crawl to the basement, where she is not greeted by her sister.
Emily expresses her dissatisfaction with Charlie’s return to her and her daughter’s lives, especially after what she has “done to the family.” Charlie tries to reconcile with her sister, but Emily refuses to change her mind.
She then leaves the house and arrives at a pier to inspect her family’s boat, only to discover that it is no longer usable.

Where Will Charlie Go? Will Beatrix Find and Kill Her?
Although Charlie escapes the authorities by solving Sterling Srmurder, she makes Beatrix Hasp, a powerful member of a powerful crime syndicate, her adversary. Beatrix threatens Charlie with death for diverting the FBI to the Hasps and possibly the Five Families.
Beatrix, on the other hand, does not want to kill her right away. She tells Charlie that she will let her live if she works as her personal lie detector for her.
The businesswoman makes it clear that her offer is only valid until the end of their call, prompting Charlie to terminate the call and dispose of her mobile phone.
Charlie is expected to continue her cross-country journey in order to stay off Beatrix Hasp’s radar. She may also continue to use false identities and seek work in remote areas of the country. However, Charlie may have realised that Beatrix is not Sterling Sr., who relied on Cliff’s one-man army to find her.
Charlie must be expecting Beatrix to send more men and use advanced technology to locate her. Beatrix, as a prominent businesswoman and member of a crime syndicate, may have contacts all over the country who can help her find Charlie.

If that’s the case, the human lie detector may even consider fleeing the country to a foreign country, where Beatrix may not have as many resources to track her down.
Beatrix may threaten Charlie’s sister Emily and Emily’s daughter in order to force Charlie to return to Atlantic City. Charlie may have wreaked enough havoc on her sister’s family, and she may not want a cold-blooded criminal barging into Emily and her daughter’s lives.
If Beatrix takes advantage of Charlie’s affection for her sister, the businesswoman may be able to seize her target sooner rather than later. As a result, Charlie’s survival may be contingent on Emily and her daughter’s safety.
Even if Beatrix captures Charlie, she is unlikely to kill him right away. Beatrix may try to use Charlie’s lie-detecting abilities before seriously considering murdering her.
