Obi-Wan took newborn Luke to his aunt and uncle on Tatooine after his battle with Anakin.

Then began a hermitage that would last until Darth Maul tracked down the renowned Jedi for one final confrontation.

At Least That’s What We Assumed

Obi-Wan Kenobi will finally reveal what transpired in the years following the Revenge of the Sith and before his ultimate confrontation with Maul. The trailer for Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Based on the Age of a Young Luke Skywalker

The episode looks to take place 10 or so years after the events of Revenge of the Sith.

A Teaser Trailer Was Released on March 9

So far, only one trailer for Obi-Wan Kenobi has been released: a teaser trailer released on March 9.

It’s one of the best trailers I’ve ever seen. We get to see Obi-Wan, the inquisitors, and, most importantly. We get to hear the incredible Duel of the Fates all over again.

So, what do we know so far regarding the Obi-Wan Kenobi franchise?

We don’t know much, but we do know that Darth Vader, is Star Wars’ most iconic villain.

It will arrive alongside his army of Inquisitors.

Fans of the expanded world will be familiar with these, but for anyone who missed Rebels, we’ve put together an explanation.

The Sith Inquisitors Were a Group of Former Jedi

During the events of Order 66, the Sith Inquisitors were a group of former Jedi who bowed to the evil side of the force.

They aren’t Sith Lords because only two Sith Lords can exist at the same time in the Star Wars canon, but they serve alongside Sith Lords.

These mercenaries were trained by Darth Vader and deployed to seek down the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy in the years after Order 66.

According to certain Star Wars reference books, the group could include as many as 12 members, but only 10 have appeared in various TV episodes and computer games.

Obi-wan Kenobi Trailer!

They’ll be a big threat, based on what we’ve seen in the Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer.

Probably sent to Tatooine in quest of the force-sensitive infant who would grow up to blow up the Death Star and put an end to the Empire’s dominion.

The Grand Inquisitor, who is played by Rupert Friend in the trailer, is their commander.

The Grand Inquisitor, a former Jedi Temple guard, turned to the dark side after seeing the Jedi’s treatment of Ahsoka Tano.

This contributed to her dissatisfaction with the Jedi way of life.

While The Grand Inquisitor’s destiny is established in Star Wars: Rebels, his representation in live-action will be fascinating.

Especially since he won’t be played by Jason Isaacs, who played him in Star Wars: Rebels.

The Antagonists From Season 2 of Star Wars: Rebels

The clip also features the Fifth Brother and the Seventh Sister, the antagonists from Season 2 of Star Wars: Rebels.

Obi-wan Kenobi Release Date

Prepare yourself, Star Wars fans: Obi-Wan Kenobi’s release date is approaching.

To commemorate Star Wars Day, a new trailer has debuted, giving fans another look at Ewan McGregor’s return as the mysterious Jedi Master.

Following his banishment at the end of Revenge of the Sith, the six-part miniseries will investigate what happened to the Jedi Master.

When he decided to go into seclusion in the Tatooine desert to safeguard newborn Luke and keep his father Anakin from finding out about his existence.

McGregor told Radio Times, “I’m quite excited to do it again — I’m maybe even more excited this time.”

“I’m older, perhaps a little wiser. The first time I did it, the most enjoyable part was pretending to be Alec Guinness, but younger.

That, as well as mastering all of the difficult fights, was the acting challenge.

“I guess he was in his 60s when he did the first Star Wars film, and I’m about to be in my 50s.

Keep it a secret! So now I’ll be able to bridge that gap a little more, and finding him in that location will be fun.”

Images for Obi-Wan Kenobi already provided fans a taste of what to expect from Ewan McGregor’s portrayal of the Jedi Master.

The photographs, which were first revealed by Entertainment Weekly, show Obi-Wan clutching his famed blue lightsaber while standing on Tatooine.

“We find Obi-Wan at the beginning of our story pretty broken, and faithless, and beaten.

Mcgregor Said of His Character in the Series

Somewhat given up,” McGregor said of his character in the series.

Disney announced what had long been rumored at their epic investor presentation in December 2020:

Prequel trilogy co-star Hayden Christensen will resume his role as Anakin Skywalker (later known as Darth Vader) for the limited series.

“Playing Anakin Skywalker was such a fantastic adventure,” he stated.

When we last met Anakin and Obi-Wan, they weren’t exactly on speaking terms.

It will be fascinating to see what Deborah Chow, an incredible director, has in store for us.

I’m looking forward to working with Ewan once more. It’s great to be back.”

A tweet from the official Star Wars account confirmed the announcement, along with a first look at the show’s logo, which appears to evoke the sands of Tatooine.
