In 2001, Sheehan and O’Donoghue formed ‘The Script’ along with drummer Glen Power. The band’s unique sound, which blended rock, pop, and hip-hop, quickly gained them a following, and they signed a record deal with the reproduction of Sound Records.

The Script’s first single, “We Cry,” was released in 2008 and became a major hit, peaking at number 9 on the UK Singles Chart. The band’s self-titled debut album was released later that year, and was a huge success, selling over two million copies worldwide.

Since then, The Script has released several more albums, including ‘Science & Faith in 2010, ‘No Sound Without Silence’ in 2014, and ‘Freedom Child’ in 2017.

The band has sold over 29 million records worldwide and has won numerous awards, including three World Music Awards and six Meteor Ireland Music Awards.

Aside from his work with The Script, Sheehan has collaborated with other artists, including, Bono, and Britney Spears. He has written songs for a range of artists, including Ronan Keating, Westlife, and Boyzone.

In addition to his musical career, Sheehan has worked as a judge on the Irish version of ‘The Voice’ and has been involved in several philanthropic efforts. He is a supporter of various charities, including the Irish Cancer Society and the Irish Autism Action.
