Is There Going to Be the Third Season of Homeland?

Yes. Disney+ announced on Twitter on September 13 that High School Musical:

The Musical: The Series had been officially renewed for a third season. Disney+ tweeted: “Buckle up for Season 3, Wildcats”.

When Does Hsmtmts Season 3 Come Out?

Season 3 of Disney+’s High School Musical: The Musical will premiere on July 23, 2022. ‘One word: CHILLS. @CorbinBleu is joining Season 3 of #HSMTMTS, streaming on July 27 on #DisneyPlus!’ read a caption on the show’s official Instagram account on May 21.

In a TIME profile, Olivia Rodrigo stated that filming started in January 2022. Like the prior two seasons, new episodes will most likely stream every week on Disney+.

HSMTMTS Season 3 Cast Announced!

All of our faves from High School Musical: The Musical: The Series season 2 are back in season 3. So you can expect to see icons Joshua Bassett (Ricky), Matt Cornett (E.J.), Sofia Wylie (Gina), Larry Sapperstein (Big Red), Julia Lester (Ashlyn), Dara Renée (Kourtney), Frankie Rodriguez (Carlos) and Joe Serafini (Seb) all come back.

Olivia Rodrigo fans who are anxious that her new job as a singer may hinder Nini from participating in season 3 don’t have to worry. “I’m committed to HSM for the next two years,” Olivia told The Guardian in May 2021, and she confirmed this to Time. However, she will no longer be the main character.

Mark St Cyr. (Mr Benjamin Mazzara) and Kate Reinders (Miss Jenn), who plays East High’s favourite teachers will also return for more HSMTMTS fun. Meanwhile, season 2 actors Olivia Rose Keegan (Lily), Roman Banks (Howie) and Derek Hough (Zack) will also come back.

In addition, if Nini returns for season 3, Jordan Fisher (Jamie) will likely have a larger role. As for new characters, the season will be set at a Camp Rock-like summer camp called Camp Shallow Lake. Adrian Lyles will portray Jet, the enigmatic newcomer to Camp Shallow Lake. Both Saylor Bell and Meg Donnelly have been cast as campers turned counsellors-in-training, Maddox and Val, respectively.

Meanwhile, Hannah Montana’s Jason Earles will play Dewey Wood, the Camp Director of Camp Shallow Lake and Corbin Bleu, who plays Chad in the original film, will appear as himself.

Season 3 of Hsmtms Will Feature a Musical

The High School Musical: The Musical: The Series season 3 musical will be Frozen. As we’ve mentioned, the season will be set at the fictional Camp Shallow Lake. East High students are charged with putting on a Frozen-themed show.

However, in line with the camp concept, there will also be songs from Camp Rock and the High School Musical films at large. Not to mention, the season will have original music exactly like seasons 1 and 2.

Hsmtmts Season 3

Tim Federle, the showrunner of HSMTMS, told Hollywood Life in the past: “There are a plethora of musicals from which to choose for this production. If you want to go all out, you can make a new musical or do a sequel to High School Musical 3.”

What Will happen in Hsmtms Season 3?

Season 2 of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series concludes with East High deciding to withdraw from the Alan Menken Awards for High School Musical theatre, and season 3 will see our favourite East High students travelling to the fictional Camp Shallow Lake for a Camp Rock-style summer vacation.

Tim Federle, showrunner of HSMTMTS, revealed to Hollywood Life what we may expect in season 3: “Streaming TV allows you to resume watching where you left off, and that appeals to me because it is so logical. Season 3 is in the works, and I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll be allowed to work on it if given the green light.”

As for romance, as it stands, Ricky and Nini have broken up, Gina and E.J. are together, Big Red and Ashlyn are together, Kourtney and Howie are together and Carlos and Seb are together but all may change in a new season.

It looks like Ricky and Lily may start a romance going into season 3. Nini is also likely to begin collaborating with Gina’s brother Jamie on original compositions shortly as well. With this in mind, probably, Nini won’t show up at Camp Shallow Lake. Meanwhile, Gina and E.J. appear to have finally worked things out.

When asked why he wanted to do summer activities, Federle said, “I suppose summer is a period of letting go and not having a curfew and the rules kind of change. “However, if we proceed, I believe there will be a distinct summer flavour. I think the format stays similar-ish, but I would love to spice things up with the season 3 musical if we get one. There are a lot of intriguing options here, including the potential for a completely new sound that might be shocking to some.”
