Instead, Sophie requests that Oscar wear the necklace again in order to improve sexually. Oscar regards the same as problematic and ends their relationship. Sophie loses control of her relationship yet again because she fails to communicate effectively.

The near future Sophie narrates the events of the day she spent with her friends to her son in 2050, talking about their miserable Valentine’s Day experiences so that he will understand how the day remained special even after such experiences.

Because Ian is the only one who appears in the montage but not in Sophie’s story about a bad Valentine’s Day, viewers must be wondering if he is her son’s father. Since the first episode of the series, Ian has been considered a strong contender to be Sophie’s “The One.”
