The final season of His Dark Materials has finally come after a long wait. In the last set of episodes, The Amber Spyglass, the third book in the trilogy by Philip Pullman, will be adapted. Lyra and Will will be caught up in Lord Asriel’s war against the Authority.

Asriel got the votes of his other friends to let Mrs Coulter join his wartime council. However, she stole Intention Craft and went back to the Magisterium the first chance she got, when he was torturing an angel to death to send a message to Metatron.
Coulter wanted to bring down the Magisterium from the inside, but she was arrested at the end of the episode.

Macphail wants to kill Lyra by setting off a bomb with her interception. So Lyra and Will could go to the Land of the Dead, Iorek fixed the Subtle Knife.
Lyra met and talked with her own Death in the waiting room. Death has been with her all her life, but she has never seen or heard it.
Eventually, Lyra had to leave Pan behind to go to the other side and get Roger, which was very painful for both of them.

Lord Asriel’s war against religious tyranny and its leader, The Authority, gets worse in The Amber Spyglass. He brings in creatures and forces from other worlds and even gets some angels to join him.

Will is looking for Lyra with the help of two angels who want to take him to Asriel. In the meantime, Mrs Coulter has captured Lyra, and a Magisterium assassin is after Mary Malone when she goes to a new world to learn more about Dust from creatures called Mulefa.
