Discord On PS5: How to Use Discord on Your PlayStation 5?
Discord is now available on PlayStation 5. You’ll need to do a few things first, similar to how Discord was first connected with Xbox.
Once you’ve completed all of the necessary requirements, you’ll be able to communicate with all of your other friends who play on other platforms. You also won’t have to worry about other players’ in-game chat interrupting your conversations.
Here’s all you need to know about connecting Discord to your PlayStation 5.
Link Discord and PS5
To link Discord, you must be a member of the PS5 beta testers programme and have received an email with a code to gain access.
If you haven’t already signed up for the beta test programme, you can do so here. But don’t worry if you want not to. This feature, according to Discord, will be “coming shortly for all PS5 owners.”
After you’ve inserted the code into your PS5, go to Settings and select User and Accounts. Then, select Discord from the list of Linked Services.
When you select this, a QR code and an 8-digit code will be displayed for you to utilise. Follow the instructions on your screen, and your Discord account will be linked to your PlayStation account once you’ve finished.

How to Use Discord on Your Play Station 5
You’re almost ready to utilise Discord on your PS5 now that everything is linked. All you have to do is launch the Discord app on your phone or computer.
If you’re using the mobile app, join a voice channel and scroll up to reveal a menu labelled “Join on PlayStation.” If you’re on a PC, though, all you have to do is click on the phone symbol and then on “Transfer to PlayStation.”
After joining a voice channel, you’ll be able to manage the volume and see who else is in the channel directly from your PS5.
