Despite the fact that Christmas is a time to spend with family, a time to be happy and full of joy, it may be enjoyable to play a practical joke every once in a while, particularly when so few people will be anticipating them.
I will show you ten easy pranks and ambush tactics that you may play on the people you care about most in this Instructable. This article uses various tools and materials, all of which can be purchased at your neighborhood dollar shop, which is also where I did. * Before you continue through the slides, I want to point out that the video instruction will give you a better picture of how these pranks are carried out. Step 1: Prank One
You’re going to need a giant party popper in order to pull off this practical joke. These devices function by having the bottom be twisted, which causes the top to pop out and launch confetti.
We are going to try to get away with pretending that that party popper is a present by wrapping it in some paper and giving it that way. I’m going to put some party snaps inside this booby trap so that it’s a little bit more dangerous. The next step, which is extremely important to ensure that this practical joke is a success, is to place a label on the bottom of the party popper that instructs the target to twist the bottom in order to open it.
The top of the popper can be removed, making it more straightforward to shoot the confetti into the air. Now all you have to do is tie a bow around the package, and your victim won’t be able to tell anything is wrong until they try to open it.
Step 2: Prank Two
You know who you are if you are one of those people that give out holiday cards instead of actual gifts. Well, once you get the appropriate card for that special someone, it’s time to booby trap it, and for that, you’ll need a straw and an ear plug with a string tied to it. This second prank is for you.
After punching a few holes in the card’s lower edge, fill the straw with liquid and place the ear plug in the space underneath it. This will prevent the liquid from escaping through the card’s holes. After taping the straw to the crease in the card, thread the string through one of the holes, then back through the other hole.
Staple the string to the opposite end of the card while the card is only partially opened. This will ensure that the unfortunate jerk who opens it will have their crotch wet when it is fully opened, so be inventive about what you put inside the straw. Staple the string to the opposite end of the card.
Step 3: Prank Three
Okay, now let’s annoy someone with this prank, which consists primarily of constructing a Christmas box with the materials provided. I spent a lot of money on an extremely long plastic table cover, and then I taped one side all the way around the interior of it till the two sides met. Place the gift in the middle of the table, and then finish taping the plastic table cover. Utilizing staples is a great time saver. When you have reached the very last step, attach it to the lid of the box, and then put it on.

When they try to open it, they will have a difficult time getting to the gift, particularly if it is a small present such as a pair of socks. Haha!
Step 4: Prank Four
Another irritating prank, this one requires you to first grab your victim’s gift and tape over the flaps. This will make the situation even more difficult for them.
Apply adhesive with a glue stick to each side of the box, and as you cover it with glue, begin wrapping the gift one side at a time until you have completely covered it. Continue this process until you have covered the entire box.
Once the present has had time to dry, the wrapping paper will be extremely difficult to rip, and whoever attempts to open the present will have a difficult time removing the gift wrap.

Step 5: Prank Five
The following joke is one of my favorites since it is so simple to set up. For example, if you gave someone a box of cookies for Christmas, you could simply open the box and eat the cookies, as you will only need the container for this joke.
It is highly recommended that it be a tin can similar to this one. You are going to essentially be spraying the interior with the foulest and most repulsive liquid you are able to locate, something that has a strong odor. Put the lid on it, and make sure it’s on there nice and tight so that it seals in all of that awful smell until Christmas morning when it can be opened. Yuck!
