Since 2015, the medical drama has been about the personal and professional lives of the doctors, nurses, and other emergency room staff at the made-up Gaffney Chicago Medical Center. Fans are so excited that Season 7 has already set up surprising storylines for Season 8.
With the return of characters from the original cast and the jaw-dropping return of Dr. Will Halstead’s (Nick Gehlfuss) ex-lover, the stakes for the next season are already high.
So far, we know the following about Season 8 of “Chicago Med.”
Cast of Chicago Med Season 8
Deadline says that Weber has signed a new contract to play Dr. Dean Archer in Season 8 of Chicago Med. He had already signed a one-year deal to stay for Season 7.
Dr. Dean Archer of Weber is the head of the E.D. right now. His colleagues at Gaffney Chicago Medical Center hate him, but they can’t argue that he’s a great surgeon. This hatred comes from three things: his role in helping fan-favorite Dr. Choi (Brian Tee) get shot in the Season 6 finale, which helped him move up in the ranks, and his tendency to break the rules to get the job done, and his hostile attitude toward patients.
Archer has recently shown how it can be helpful to color outside the lines. In the episode from last week, Archer and Sharon Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) gave Dr. Hannah Asher (Jessy Schram) a second chance to get her career back on track after she got clean from drugs.
As a former Navy doctor who also has PTSD, he gives many patients a unique point of view, even though it is a struggle for him daily—and often, Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt).
What Will Happen in the Eighth Season of Chicago Med?
I started watching this series as part of the Chicago trilogy because I am a big fan of PD. Reviews say that the best hospital in the area is Chicago Med. I thought I was the only one who felt this way for a long time.
Chicago Fire is a lot like its nerdy uncle when it comes to plot twists and Dad jokes. It makes me blush to think about it, but it’s also funny! I know it’s hard to make fire rescues seem real in a TV show, so I’d rather blush and keep watching than stop watching altogether.
I find it hard to let go of my doubts about something. Despite this, though, Chicago Medicine OMG. There are a lot of wrong doctors in Chicago who have nothing better to do than treat the people of Chicago with disdain and make fun of them for something as simple as having a parent.
Will Halstead has been the spoiled leader of that place since the beginning. He says, “I’ll be damned if I ever learn from my mistakes!”
No! -character. This is the third time in many days that he has ignored authority and done something terrible. As far as I know, I don’t see how the actor who played Halstead chose the expressions for his face.
Even so, I can’t watch the show anymore because of the main character’s “mouth half-open” attitude. You might have thought you were looking at Chucky or a Baby Born doll since they both have half-open mouths.
How did they change Jay’s brother into someone who looks confused when he sees his coworkers? It’s also important to note that Choi and Natalie know more than their coworkers when they’re in the mood.
Will Season 8 Start in 2023?
Chicago Med was picked up for its sixth, seventh, and eighth seasons all at the same time in 2020. The show has promised that it will be on time. Because of this, it seems likely that season 8 will come out by 2023. But it depends on how things are made. Fans of this medical drama, on the other hand, can be sure that the show will get a second season.
Is the Trailer Available?
It’s still pretty early to expect a trailer for Season 8. The show is starting its seventh season, and episode 16 will come out on March 16, 2022. “May Your Choices Reflect Hope, Not Fear” is the next episode’s title.
Dr. Halbert will help a person who has long-haul COVID symptoms. After a specific date, Taylor will look back at her dating life and think about what happened. Tess Malone directed the episode, and Eli Talbert and Ryan Michael Jonhson wrote the script for it.
Right now, we don’t know anything about season 8 other than that it will happen. So, people will have to wait longer to see what will happen in season 8.
Where Can You See Chicago Med?
