Air Gear Season 2: Is it Coming in Year 2022?

air gear season 2

Games have always been one of the most common themes in anime. It has inspired a lot of anime designers and manga writers to make anime series about sports like basketball, baseball, soccer, boxing, and, of course, car racing. Who would have thought that rollerblading could be in an anime?

Someone did it because it was called “Air Gear” in an anime. It has more than 13 volumes of manga. When you don’t feel well and need something to get you through the day, all you need is a good, inspiring anime. “Air Gear” doesn’t do this, though.

Instead, it confuses the nature of what it is. What starts out as a sports anime quickly turns into an old-school shounen with a totally different tone and plot.

In 2006, Air Gear, a series of activities and sports, was shown to anime fans for the first time. We all know how important a sports anime like Haikyuu or Star Align is to the culture of Japanese anime. Air Gear was one of the most well-known anime shows.

The Japanese con artist who goes by the name “Oh! Fantastic” has written a series of manga books that have sold more than 20 million copies all over the world. The anime was shown on TV Tokyo from April 4, 2006, to September 26, 2006.

Toei Animation, a company that makes animations, played it. Anime licenced by Funimation and shown on Hulu TV attracted viewers from all over the world. Even though time has passed, a lot of anime fans still watch the show and worry about the second season. Is there a chance that the anime will get a second season?

Minami (Ikki) is the leader of the “East Side Gunz” gang at Higachu High School. Babyface is what people call him. One day, a group of Storm Riders on Air Treck skates called Storm Sader makes fun of him and makes him feel bad.

Because Air Trecks are so fast, he lost when he was fighting alone because of them. Minami lives with the Noyamano family.

Ume, Rika, Mikan, and Ringo are the names of their four sisters. They have also found out that he lost the battle. Because of this, Ikki becomes even more driven to succeed. Later, after the women have gone to the bathroom, he walks up to his room and sees a door.

Even though it says “Do Not Enter,” he walks right in, looks around, and finds a pair of Air Trecks. This sign from the Sleeping Forest is among them. He doesn’t understand why Ikki’s family is hiding it from him and starts to use it right away.

Even though he started out as a new user, he got better each day. Ikki competes with the group of Skull Saders and has a fun fight with a girl named Simca along the way. He is looking for the leader of the Storm Sader gang so he can get his own back with Air Trecks.

When he finds himself in an area he knows nothing about, he gets himself into trouble. But he quickly falls in love with the feeling of flying and joins Air Treck. Now, Ikki has his one true wish come true: he is the king of the sky.

Release Date of Air Gear Season 2

air gear season 2

Air Gear’s first season started on April 5, 2006, and ended on September 27, 2006. Since the end of the first season, rumours about the second season have been going around the internet. Many people think that the two OVAs that came out soon after the first season are continuations of it, but that’s not true.

The OVAs were based on several volumes of the manga that came out much later, so it wouldn’t be right to call them sequels. Since it’s been so long since the first season of the anime aired, many fans are starting to doubt that there will be a second season.

The author has written 37 volumes of the manga so far, but only 12 of them were shown in the first season of the anime. On the other hand, only volumes 16, 23, and 24 are covered in the OVAs. So, the anime still needs to cover a lot of the source material.

But the sales of the show are a cause for concern. The total sales include DVDs, souvenirs, and even streaming on the internet, and the numbers aren’t very good.

So, it looks like the chances of getting a new season are almost nothing at this point. Air Gear Season 2 doesn’t look like it will come out until 2021 or 2022 at this point.
